My friends Laetizia Bazzoni & Alexandre Bibaut, photographers at les 2B recently bought this bright new built space to relocate their photostudio. Our first challenge was to create a multi-functional space that works for both: while Laetizia does mainly portraits at the studio, Alexandre is specialized in food photography so this means a kitchen that needs to be mobile with lots of materials that can be hidden in order to keep the space pristine.

Staying within a limited budget was a must.

The idea was to create a sober structure with authentic materials. A central wooden block , accessed by 2 doors with untreated steel handles , houses the technical equipment and a bathroom, then a staircase is build around these spaces to access the studios on the upper floor..
